I'm thinking of diving Roatan, next January.

Has anybody else gone at that time?

Any tips, etc. on weather/water conditions, Pro's, con's, etc.

Thanks!

I dived Feb, as well as the year before, GREAT.. np with the weather, temps were upper 70`s .to low 80`s.. I dived with Anthony`s Key...see ya` under

This has been asked many times. http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=117338

January can be cool and rainy. Still darned nice and tropical, just no sun drenched surface intervals on the boat to heat you up for dive #2.

When cold snaps push to Texas, Roatan North side diving gets shut down- it is called a Norther. January is prime time for that kind of thing. Usually happens about 2 or three times each year.
