Well, for me at least this has been a most useful post. I'm going to stick with my Ls and not have to send them back. Of course I'll curse you all when they fall into the depths next week or I drown from cramp all the way from toe to neck

Thanks again for the feedback - terribly tiny point I know, but I'm keen on getting the basics right and getting wrong sized fins doesn't achieve that. Thanks.

FYI, I happened to be in my LDS doing some last minute Christmas shopping and noticed they had Jet Fins. I tried on a pair of XL and the fit was infinitely better, not even vaguely a question, than the L's I got.

I've sent the L's back and will be supporting my LDS and getting the XL JetFins there. I'm never going to buy fins offa the net again.

Anyhow, a happy ending, as it should be on Christmas day
