Hey all,

I will be staying at Hotel Coz June 5-12 if anyone wants to get together. Dropping in the water with AquaSafari

Anyone have an idea on bottom temps? I already have my 3mil packed, but wondering if I really need it at all.

Scooter, Take the 3 mil and a lighter weight skin, if you have it. This way, you can dial up or down as you need it. Water temps may be warm, however, if doing multiple dives, sometimes the body core can get chilled. At the least, do consider something to at least avoid contact with floating hydroid and stingy critters. If you don't have a light weight skin, a long sleeve rash guard , biker (stretchy type lycra fabric), body conforming shirt/pants will do.

I'm going down in June too and will take, but not likely use, my 3mm shorty. But then again, I don't use it when I'm diving there in December, so I may not be a good reference.

Hit the Santa Rosa wall and Tormentos today. Saw five toadfish and a barracuda on Tormentos. Computer put me in a deco stop on Tormentos, but no one else had one. Oh well. Raining today, but its a nice break from the pounding sun.

Speaking of Suuntos and their batteries, I woke up stressed out today that I still hadn't heard anything about my Suunto and the reg I had shipped with it for service. I like my seacure mouthpiece and my pressure integration, rental gear did not sound appealing. Called and found out it's shipping today, should get here Friday, in plenty of time. Whew!

Meanwhile, I'm wondering whether I made the right choice with Secrets. Me and bugs just don't get along. I've always been fortunate to not have a buggy room wherever I've stayed in Cozumel. In the past few days, two scary reports at tripadvisor: one lady said her husband found three bugs on his grouper, another woke up to a roach crawling on him in bed. Third bug report might be third strike, as I think I can cancel up to 3 days ahead with penalty. On the other hand, other recent reviews are 5 star, which I can assume means no bugs in their food or bed. I hate when reviews are mixed.
