yesterday morning and found over 60' of visibility, and lots of marine life. We descended on the bow, where in addition to the usual baracudas, we were joined by lots of schooling fishes... Bar Jacks, Permits, and Spadefishes. I peeked out over the pointy end and spotted a big Bull Shark swimming away from the wreck! We ascended a bit, and drifted along the length of the wreck, past the wheelhouse, smokestack, and crowsnest, before snagging the stern mooring line for our final ascent.
Unfortunately, the visibility at Molasses Reef, where we had planned to make our second dive, was dismal... we guestimated ten feet or so. Our sponsors unanimously opted to call it a day.
The water is still warm at 84f. Seas were 2-3' at the reef, and 3-4' at the wreck.
