Drove to Lanes Cove. Air temps upper 70s, calm southwest winds. 5-15 knots. Went to Lanes cove. Flat and calm. We were in at low tide which made it tricky during entry.

Suprisingly ok vis. 15-20 feet?

Dive 1 - In at 1:08 PM, 44 min. Max depth 55 fsw. Surface temp 57, temp at depth 50. Headed North towards the wall, followed along. Saw a couple dogfish. Also ran into huge school of small fish. pretty calm.

Dive 2 - In 2:29, 47 min, max depth 55 fsw - Repeat of first. Heaed towards wall but spent most time at 30 fsw in rocky area before wall. Lots of bugs still. Mostly FM eggers.

First time diving there since they put the new 1 flag per diver rule. We had 2 flags amongst 3 of us. Curious if anyone has been ticketed yet or if they are giving warnings. No hassles with parking or locals.

Looking forward to getting out again tomorrow afte rwork and taking adv. of record temps for after work dusk/night dive!
