if you want something accurate and small, check out the vintage diving gear on ebay. :) Sometimes they have working analog depth gauges for bid. Don't think you will be able to attach it to a watch strap though.

did you know in the 70s they used to use rubber bands?

the brown ones with the red and green stripes your secretary uses...

at certain depths a color would change and/or disappear... so it was a matter of knowing the depth-color combo...

wala nang mumura at a-analog pa dyan...

but you'll have to ask a mega oldtimer diver from that era... they might still know the formula...

don't ask caloy... although he's old na, he only started diving recently... digital era na...

hehe, good luck finding one in a store! I was snooping around for Panerai's last week... amazing how popular they've gotten lately... all the dealers are sold out, at least here... :wink:
