Great looking keeper!! Would you say $80 is a good estimate of cost to make?

If you had to buy everything including the rope, tubing, gate clips, etc., I think it's $70. For that price you can get it up to 52" in length--which seems super long to me. If you want a 72" one you have to add $6.

Threw it into the bathtub and it just barely floats at the surface. Need to add a little weight to it. Anyone have an ideas other than zip tieing a lead weight to it?

Goop a 1# soft weight in the very bottom.

Fill it with lionfish. And a gooped weight on the inside. Only use as much as you need to make it neutral.

you can also try using the balance weight strips they use at the tire store - flat and adhesive backed though not sure how it'll work on HDPE. You may have to put a edge seal on it too
