Hi,

I am considering a trip in June to Bonaire. I will be traveling alone, and I am very much interested in diving with a buddy or buddies as opposed to a pony bottle.

I checked around, and I have not seen too many Scubaboardians (sp) planning a trip in June to Bonaire. However, I figured I would keep asking.

I have looked into the following websites for a single diver accommodations, car rental, unlimited shore diving packages, and with or without single tank or double tank boat dives as part of the diving package, as well. Here is a list. I am loking at a studio or hotel for just myself, and thought that the following might be useful to others as future reference or as a convincingly good way to see if anyone else is considering on going to Bonaire in June. Either way, I may just end up trying to buddy up with someone when I get there.

So here are some sites, including rates. This is not a sales pitch. It's just a summary of what I am looking at for myself and to see if any of it looks attractive to others planning on Bonaire sometme or who might be in Bonaire in June. Not looking to share a room, since I have not seen details of double beds in rooms. I am just looking to buddy up for the dives:

Anyway, if this kind of gets you in the mood for Bonaire in June 2006. respond to this thread or PM me :D

If your interested in input, Golder Reef Inn is a nice place, nothing fancy but clean, reasonably priced and Liz will take good care of you. It's just off the water and the dive op they use (Wannadivebonaire) is great. You might want to go to the Bonaire board and see if anyone there is looking for a buddy in your timeframe, I have had pretty good luck doing that. www.bonairetalk.com

I am going in June with a group. Staying at Buddy Dive 17th - 25th. Flying out of Corpus Christi-Houston-Bonaire.
