Maldives in Nov/Dec

How is the diving in Maldives in November/December? Any recommendations for land based? We have small children.

My friends were there last Christmas, she said rain and rain, bad vis, nothing much to see. This year, may be better, try your luck.

Thanks. Our other option is Palau which sounds like it might be better.

Off this afternoon to Bali to try and see Mola-mola. Life is tough!
