Malta diving

Would anyone here rather 2 morning dives or 1 afternoon dive in Malta in mid-April? What would be the better times? I am thinking morning would be better because you haven't spent yourself during the day yet. What do you think here?

Well, it depends. Are you diving in wetsuit or drysuit? Sea temperature here is around 16-17C down to 30m. If you're coming in April, it probably won't be higher than 19C anywhere.
Most of dive centers plan to be on site by around 9am, especially on weekends/public holidays.
I'd rather do 2 in the morning if you're in a wetsuit and can take those temperatures
