It's a stone crab claw - he ducked just as I squeezed the trigger.

It was most likely killed by fishermen. We get a lot of fish food floating in from just outside the pass. It is kind of ugly but the locals seem to enjoy it :D.
 
I did see a school of spadefish go by, hmmmmmmmm ................??
