I love Sherwood regs period!!! I have quite the assortment myself that I have bought from folks on Ebay. I have seen some that were brought in for service where the owner said it had been in storage for a while and the LP Seat had crystallized for some strange reason and disintegrated. I suspect that it may have been rinsed in something that it shouldn't have been. The kits are cheap and plentiful so service parts shouldn't be an issue for the foreseeable future. Anyway, the reason behind the leak from the second more than likely is the LP seat. Congratulations on your find at E-Bay. That sounds like one that I was watching, but I haven't paid more than 65 bucks for any of my Sherwood regs, although mine were purchased without the console.

Thanks. I actually already found all the info on this. The small bubbling from the first stage vent is supposed to be there. It's designed to do that. This Oasis reg looks and works like brand new. It also came with a brand new looking octopus that hooks inline with the power inflator hose, and the console also looks new. We had it all serviced a while back and I added my old Sherwood Source computer in place of the depth guage. It's already been on a few dives and Shirley loves it. For what all was included, and because of the prestine condition of everything, I think $150 was a steal! :D
