Here is a quick screen grab from a video. Not a great shot but does show how well the Mako light mounted directly to the GoPole provided nice wide coverage and pretty centered for the GoPro frame. Simple and it works. This is with just one light. I just mounted a second and will be trying it out next week.

This set up provides the light I need to enjoy my videos.

Ok, one more shot. Obligatory wall shot. Tried to shoot down the pole so you can see how the hot spot and spill look in relation to the GoPro.

This is the pole that I bought and will never use again.

GoScope - GoPro® HERO4 Telescoping Pole / Monopod

Why never? When you get wet, the pole has trapped air inside and I had to waste a few minutes on every dive loosening the joint then pumping it in and out until the air was expelled. It floats like a balloon otherwise - major pain in the ass. I could drill holes in the tubes but I expected this to work and not have to jury rig it for SCUBA. (Never much liked the grip either). Anyone else have any suggestions for a decent pole? The Z gear light mounting seems quite intruiging but a tad expensive.
