Welcome to Scubaboard and the Pittsburgh diving community. I also dive with Splash Water Sports, and have been part of the local community here in Pittsburgh for five years. There are many places to dive within a few hours of here, as long as you are ok with the cold water. Strawberry is not too bad as a training quarry, but there is Gilboa, Bainbridge, Lake Erie and even the St. Lawrence river which provide excellent diving opportunities in the area. The St. Lawerence is 7 hours away but it does warm up more in the summer time.
