There is a sunken city in Jamaica called Port Royal which sunk in an earthquake in 1692. Robert Marx talks alot about it in his book "Shipwrecks in the Americas"

I also heard of a lake in Kentucky where they flooded a town when they built a dam. I was told that the whole town is still there including the watertower. That would be cool to dive.

you beat me to it! Well a girl has to eat and all.... hehehe

The Great Lakes and the St Lawrence have a lot of wrecks that are well preserved in our fresh cold water....

As for 'wrecked cities' -- not wrecked, but as a result of when the St Lawrence Seaway was established, we have "sunken" villages. A number of towns that were flooded as a result of the flooding caused by the new seaway.
