DROP IT!!! Soggy... Cincy...

And here is the kicker...They dive the short hose configuration with full face half the time.

Sheesh, we are back to this again??

Well, at least I can't argue with that logic.

So let's see if I can apply it to another scenario....

I dive only air. I have never been bent.

Conclusion - you cannot get bent on air

Cool

Jeez, CBF.

GET OVER IT.

....oh....and I know a NOAA diver who uses a long hose....he's on this board.

Get over what?

You know a NOAA diver that uses the 7' hose when working for NOAA???

I thought we demonstrated that the 7 ft hose is a viable alternative, when appropriate, and that other shorter lengths were obsolete equipment? And that any arguments contrary to this were all ad hominem.

Whats wrong with wearing a 7 ft hose when appropriate?

Would a 7 ft hose be appropriate for a basic OW class?? Heck no, in my opinion.

Do all OW instructors have the same opinions? Heck no: fact.

Yes. He even did his NOAA checkout dives with it to the best of my knowledge.

No kidding. Where did he do his NOAA checkout dives? Was he already a federal employee or in the military or what?

Okay, where????
