Just got my Oceanic "Chute 3" and made 4 dives with it this weekend and I have to give it to them, they did a great job with this BC.

So far I've found nothing to complain about, it's done everthing they said it would. It's comfortable and has great buoyancy.

Kinda makes me feel better about spending a little more to get a good BC...

I've put about 200 dives on a Chute 2 and I've been quite happy. How is the Chute 3 different?

Besides a few cosmetic changes there's really not that much difference other than 2 more additional "D" rings and the new "QLR" System, other than that, they’re virtually the same. Click on the links below to compare the differences
