Come on down I'll be happy to train you in Florida and I just happen to be Canadian. You'll will have need of much training before considering cave diving in Canada

Hi Mr A,
I was just trying to PM you regarding some possible dive date information but your PM's are blocked. Please advise. Thanks

Say gang,

It looks like some of you take this pretty seriously. Especially this James fella!

I'm a big fan of dive equipment and was wondering what you fellas think would be the best dive light to use for a dive like this?

I'm a super big fan of the UK Sunlight D8 with optional lantern grip and stretch lanyard! :dazzler1:

Thanks gentlemen

I will heed the warnings and stay clear. I'm just trying to expand my knowledge of the local sites. I now know quite a bit about it just from your advice. Have you guys ever dove the flooded graphite mine near Calabogie? Are there any local cave courses? Local being Eastern Ontario?

I wonder if you are referring to the "Back Mine" Quartz and Feldspar. This was another of the "Reekie exploited" flooded mines. I put at least 50 dives in it but have heard access has been blocked back in '93 0r '94. There are many of this type of site scattered from the Gatineau's to Smiths Falls and farther.

There is another town that Ont Hydro took care of just north of Chalk River called Mackey . Part of that was dammed over. Dark Water but doable typical Ottawa Riveer
