Agreed in this case, which is why I added the text above. I was talking generally, that a mechanical failure does not equal never going on the same boat again. If the H2O Below or Cat N Around had a breakdown at sea, I'd still use them in the future. That was my point.

What should we argue next? Religion or Politics? (joke)

I'd think that Gary or Doug would cancel a trip if there was a known chance of a malfunction. Breaking down in the Gulf, without any warning whatsoever, is also another story...

In this incident, there were obvious precursors.
