As the title suggests, I am after ideas on the best method of attachment for a 7ltr bottle to be used as a dive extending dive and not as an alternate. As far as I have found, all the pony bottle attachment devices only cater bottles up to 110mm, the 7ltr I have access to is 140mm in diameter. I only have a single back mount BC.

I have seen people side mount diving with a single cylinder, or chest mounting a stage. I still feel from a streamlining/comfort perspective, back mounting is ideal, does any manufacturer make a mounting system to handle larger bottles than 110mm?

Sling it provided you have decent enough SS D-rings to manage this.

If your BCD is incapable of holding the second tank then you really need to think about changed to a BPW
