I'm a Fish!
Am I the only one who gets the post dive munchies? I especially crave sweets. Mmmmmmm peanut M&M's are a favorite. What do you like to eat after a dive?

Post dive munchies are the second best part of diving. hehe I like chips, jerky, candy (mike and ikes are my favorite).

Hmm, that sounds good too.

TTSkipper:
I got this from a dive buddy of mine and make it before all of my trips:
2 Jars of Peanuts
1 Large Bag of M&M's
1 Large Container of Raisins (1lb maybe?)

Mix it all up and put portions into ziplock bags.

Fresh pineapple or mango.... yummy!!!!! :11ztongue

That mix is the best! It's called "GORP" (don't ask me why)...it's a favorite with hikers and canoers. A handful after a long day of work helps with a quick energy boost too.

Bananas and LOTS of dark chocolate... but that mix sounds really good. I'll try it this wkend. Now, are those salted peanuts or just shelled without skins?

Maria

Chocolate-covered shortbread cookies are my choice, as well as bananas. There's always a variety of chips/snacks on the boat for post-dive munchies. One day we had those new Scuba crackers - so appropriate.

:11: Bananas?!

I like to bring Starburst fruit chews and oranges with me. Something about citrus just does it for me after I get out of the water. Mmm!

I have the same problem with a weak stomack on boats, therefore no acidic citrus fruits for me. Hence the bananas, with the added benefit of high potasium content which prevents cramps :)
