Are there any available protective socks, neoprene cases or similar products that a diver can use to wrap 2nd stages (primary and octopus) to protect against scratches, debris getting into the mouthpiece? This is of course for out of water intervals, or storage/travel.

A lot of regulators these days have metal bezels and faces that get scratched deeply when they get accidentally dragged along surfaces, trampled upon or hit by tanks.

Foreign material could also get into the mouthpiece by accident.

I was hoping there was something out there that could prevent this? I've done my research and I have also googled but I have come up blank so far.

I find a normal padded reg bag sufficient for transit. When my kit is rigged I have a plastic hose clip attached to my D rings and I snap the hose into that. But I boat dive. And second stages are really robust

In the absence of any other product why not try a pair of neoprene socks then cut the ankles off if you just want a cover ( presume for shore diving)

Look for a console protective sleeve - similar to these:

https://www.amazon.com/Diving-Instrument-Computer-Padded-Protection/dp/B0026AFHJQ
Scuba Console Padded Protection Sleeve
XS Scuba Console Cover

Or any camera retailer sells a variety of sizes of drawstring lens pouches - all padded, many neoprene. Like this one:

I put my HD camcorder in one then put it inside my video housing for travel.
