How is the diving in mid/late July or Early August? (Planning for 2025) I know it's not the best time but my wife is a teacher and it's the only time we can go. We are probably staying at El Galleon for 10-14 nights. Since I'm still in the planning phase any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

Can get typoons at that time, we had one in late August last year but really only affected diving which was banned by the coast guard. All I can offer other than the visibility was good and water warm (hence the typhoon).

Typhon is the only concern.
How often typhoon hits the country? Many times a year.
Does the typhoon affecting the whole country? NO, not even the super one eg. Yolanda in 2013.
Would it be a big concern to any visitor? No and Yes.
Airport will be closed and no ferry crossing allowed.
Divine intervention is out of our control.

1. Make sure you have good travelling policy.
2. Ask for a full package ie. accommodation, breakfast(ONLY), dive and transfer. It is LOW season.
3. There are other competent operators in PG other than El Galleon.
