What do you do with the strap that pulls the zipper up in the back?

I've got a Henderson Hyperstretch 5m one-piece and it zips up the back.

When diving, no prob...it's under the BC.

But when freediving/spearfishing, what do I do with it to keep it from flapping around?

I tuck it inside the front of my suit.
I do this for freediving and scuba.

Since it usually finds it's way out from under the BC as well, we tuck it under the collar of the suit all the time. My gal always spooks when the "sea snake" comes past her!

Wouldn't that interfere with the seal at the neck, allowing greater water exchange?

On my BodyGlove 3mm the pull tape tucks under the neck seal's velcroed tab so pushing the tape down into the body of the suit before closing the velcro doesn't interfere with the neck line at all.

I put a quick release on my 3mm. It looks like a mini carabiner. Zip up and remove the strap. I stash it in my bag while i'm in the water. Sometimes I get lazy and just turn to my wife and have her run the zipper

If I'm freediving, I just let it flap. Never been a problem.

All the best, James
