Hey all:
I am not sure what to do about this and am looking for advice. My feet cramp when diving...particularly on the outside (not the arch area...the other side of the foot, along the length of the foot).
When diving in warm water, or with a wet suit, I normally dive blade fins...when diving dry, I normally dive jet fins. I originally thought the stiffer jet fin caused this, but it seems to happen no matter which fin I dive with. It also doesn't matter if I flutter kick or frog kick.
I am wondering...is this an improper fit issue (are the fins too small?). With both sets of fins (jets with rock boots...blades with 5 mil wetsuit boots), the end of the foot pocket only comes to about the front part of my heel. Do I need larger fins (the jets are XL's and I think the blades are larges...they may be XLs...not sure.
It is really aggravating and while it doesn't ruin the dive...it makes it less than enjoyable.
Thanks;
John
