I want to be able to use my primary regulator and second stage with a pony bottle, but want to eliminate the bc inflator hose to keep it from getting in the way.

Is there a quick disconnect (QD) I can get so i can quickly remove the bc inflator hose from the 1st stage w/o having to pull it off with a wrench and plug the port.

wait, start over, i'm missing something...

do you want to switch over your primary to the pony underwater? if your primary is already on your pony, what are you breathing the rest of the time?

i think the basic answer is - no. get another reg for your pony.

Go to 'Divegearexpress.com'.....They have the hardware/hoses for what you want.......I've done what you're talking about, but would not recommend it....You're better off putting a short bc inflator hose on the 1st stage ( they make short 6" hoses) then rigging up a lp hose w/QD on one end and male nipple on the other......

that's what I'll probably do. thanks.

Is adding a failure point really worth the 30 seconds of wrenching?
