Hello fellow divers in the Northwest Arkansas region. Our dive club, the Greater Ozarks Dive Society, is looking to kick off our 2015 dive season. As part of this kickoff, we are trying to make a big push to get more members into our ranks. As many of you know, our club was founded in March of last year as an informal gathering of a few individuals who would post often here on Scubaboard. Over the past year, as a club we got to know each other and would often meet up and dive at Beaver Lake on the weekends. In addition to that, as a group we also attended last year's DUI drysuit Demotour and also recently we did a group dive to Bennett Springs. This year we have a LOT more planned.

If you are at all interested in meeting up with us and finding out who we are and what our group is about, we have a planned a kickoff meeting in March for our dive season. Divers of all skill levels and age groups are welcome to attend. For more information, see the following link:

A little bit about us. We are simply a small group of divers wanting to get out and dive some more. Our meetings and dives are pretty informal so it's more just a gathering of friends with a mutual interest. We are not affiliated with any shop or instruction agency, so we won't try to sell you any gear, services, or trips. Once again, we are open to divers of all skill levels and ages. We currently have divers as young as 13 and divers who have only a dozen or so dives. For more information on us, check out our page on Facebook:

Here's to a great 2015, and we hope to see you at a meeting or perhaps we'll meet out on the lake!
