All modern chargers should have a multi-voltage and 50 to 60 cycle rating. Check the writing on your charger to ensure that it is 100-240 V 50-60Hz and you are safe. Bonaire has 125 volt 50 cycle current. Because of the magic of inductance, if you plug a 120 volt 60 cycle only appliance into this current it will actually build voltage.

The bottom line is - if you plug a 120V 60 Hz appliance into the mains in Bonaire it will burn out. The safest way to go is multiple voltage multiple cycle chargers. Also - like someone else already said - take a two prong adapter with you. Even in some of the older hotels in the US you might find this to come in handy.

Most resorts have a regulated voltage source in the camera shop to charge batteries. check out www.greenbatteries.com
