Worst experience in the world
Review of Carlton Fleet diving live a board
Reviewed 2 days ago
I was also on this boat, what a terrible experience. We were lucky to get out alive. the boat was listing from the day we left port. Always an excuse until it eventually turned on its side with six passengers still inside. I was lucky to get out. Had to climb a floor to reach the door and only made it because I was with two guys who helped me. No crew in sight. Thank god this happened during the day. 26 guests in the dark with little help from the crew would have been even more of a nightmare
We had no time to retrieve anything from the boat, so left in tshirt and shorts. Lost everything. there were still people standing on the side of the boat when I eventually reached the life raft and the captain was already on the life raft. They talk a good talk, but don't back it up with actions. as we found out. Avoid this enterprise like the plague.
Thank goodness that we are all friends and looked after each other. I'm not sure if I would be here if not for my heroic friends

Worst boat experience ever..
I was on the Carlton queen on the 24th of April, the day it capsized and sunk. I questioned the captain just 15 minutes before capsizing and he reassured me everything was ok.. we lost everything we had on the boat including our passports. Almost no help provided. Worst company ever, unprofessional, emergency exits did not work, they put people life’s at risk and don’t care.. Simona is a horrible human being and her husband is the worst captain ever. They should all have there licenses taken away and be put in jail.

Worst trip ever!!
I was on the Carlton Queen on the 24th of of April 2023 when it capsized in the Red Sea. I can honestly say this rates as the worst trip I have ever taken. A number of our friends and my husband were trapped inside and had to rescue themselves. One of them sustained head injuries while escaping. My friends, husband and I were left with only what we had on, or in some cases, with us at the time. The rest was lost at sea. I would not trust the Carlton Fleet or Simona ever again.

Worst experience ever
I was on the Carlton Queen on the 24th of April, the day it sank. Unprofessional and unprepared crew! I lost everything I had on that boat including my passport. Almost no help provided, only some money given after the fifth day. And they did not even show up to the meeting they asked for. Worst company ever!

"Worst trip ever" seems so inadequate somehow, yet 3 of the divers used that expression😳

With the wealth of misinformation out there and the fact that positive reviews can just be purchased I think it's going to get tougher and tougher as time goes on to be able to differentiate the good ones from the bad ones based solely on online reviews. I usually just ask Dan since there's a good chance he's been on whatever boat I am thinking of using.

I guess it’s gonna be hard to too that and get a worse trip than that…

Are you suspecting they are fake reviews?

I'm not sure what to think.
Anyway, a worse trip than that could be had and some have been on them. Those divers aren't around to write reviews because for them, it was quite literally the worst trip that they'd taken and their very last one too.

I wonder if it's in shallow enough water and if I can dive it on my upcoming red sea trip in August 😅.

Man what a **** show though. I don't know if it's common in other countries but in Egypt if you go on a boat (even day boats), you have to give your passport to the crew because they need to have it on hand for when the military checks them (even in the middle of the night). At least that was the case the last two times I was there.
