Removing STA and STA integrated weight on the Infinity

Do you have to remove the Infinity backplate pad to remove the 6lb STA integrated weight or the entire STA? Looks like to gain access to the bolts, you'd have to at least disconnect one side of the backplate pad, just wanted to verify.

Answer No... Just checked mine out, I can easily fit a spanner on both bolts accessing thru the top and bottom. But as you have stated it would be easier to peel the padding to one side. Cheers. Corrie

for future use, if you are planning on swapping back and forth a lot, a set of wing nuts might make things a bit more convenient. If you are in a cold water location, you might like to release one side on the bottom of the pad (just like with the storage pak) for easier access as generally a hand with any kind of glove won't fit under there as readily if you find yourself swapping doubles kits between dives.
