I have to replace the Nitrox sticker on my steel tank. Any suggestions on removing or replacing the sticker. It seems simple enough, but so does other things, later I find out there is a much easy wasy. Thanks, Ronnie

Remove it after you get it filled. It'll be hot and should peel right off.

Replace it with one of these ...

... they're cheaper than the ones you buy at your LDS anyway ...

Goo Gone works great at removing stickers.

I second the goo gone. You have to work on them a bit, but it will eventually take it off clean.

goo gone is your friend... and go with the voodoo gas stickers :D

I usually VIP my tanks in the winter, so I gently warm it up with a hair dryer and then slowly start peeling from a corner. Since it's summer time, you could just peel it on a warm day. I think some of the stickers have a clear layer on top that will separate since it doesn't stick to the sticker as well as the sticker sticks to the tank. catch my drift? :crafty: If there is any sticky residue I s'pose gue-b-gone would work, but I use leftover isopropyl alcohol.

Anywhoozle, I got the whole thing off in one shot (except for the clear part) and the sticker is hanging in my garage now above my tanks. :D

i work on a sign shop and we use a heat gun and then Oops to remove glue residue. It warms the glue up and you should be able to pull the whole thing off in one swipe. I would try using a hairdryer, doesn't take much heat. Please don't blow up.
