Hello,
Going over pictures from recent macro trip to Romblon, Philippines, and my notes from dive log just say "scorpionfish" for one image. Handsome devil. The ID resources I've been finding point to either an Ambon scorpionfish, or the Weedy scorpionfish. The colors don't match most of the Weedy examples from the Philippines I've seen. It looks more like an Ambon to me, personally...but would appreciate some input and other opinions before I label it as such.
