I mirror Dee's list with the exception of #5. I would add Turtles instead of Rock Beauty.

Also Mike, I think your Scubaboard list is extremely sexist. No women so I give you the Women of Wreckmania for my list of Scubaboard top 5

1. Natasha
2. DivingGal
3. Sunshine Fish
4. Scuba-sass
5. KC_Scubabunny

HA!

I don't really have a list. I just like to find stuff I have not seen before and I can do that on just about every dive, even in a place that I have been diving in for a while. Of course I'm not dissapointed if I don't find anything new as everything down there is what keeps me coming back.

Where you going for your Giant Squid then Zept?!

Hm, I guess it might be on the list for a while. I like cephalopods (sp?) and I'm happy to see any of them... I just figured I ought to put the biggest one on the list!

Of course, I also have a small five:

Pigmy seahorse
Harlequin shrimp
Boxer crab
Mimic octopus
Juvenile batfish

Zept

In Puget Sound I have often heard of the "Big Three", meaning:

Giant Pacific Octopus,
Wolf Eel,
Ling Cod.

(Interesting that they left out Sixgills . . . hmmm.)

Anyway, I prefer the 'Little Ten Million', meaning: everything else. Ever get stuck between two downdrafts and spend forty minutes in a fifteen foot radius in a kelp forest? Try it sometime.

Stay wet!

Have any of you ever had experience with a great white underwater? I don't think I'd be too excited to see one really... they don't have them in Florida do they? -saw one once while surfing in California. Believe me, not a good feeling! How do these things react to divers? uninterested swim bys, curious nudges, or taste tests?

:eek:ut:

#5..... REEF SHARK

#4..... BLACK TIP SHARK

#3..... TIGER SHARK

#2..... GREAT WHITE SHARK :)

and I would have to say the number one would have to be...

RETURNING TO THE BOAT WITH MY DIVE BUDDY!!!!!

RICH :eek:ut: :mean:
