Anyone have any experience/good luck with particular settings with the Sony DSC-P200 - or by extension any of its stablemates (P150, P100, etc)

I just got back from Bonaire and it was my first time out with a P150, internal strobe only (I've used a P5 for a few years). Here are links to the pictures.

I used the following settings.
Macro On
Flash On
Flash Power to max.
-2ev exposure
400 ASA

The last three you can play with, but -2ev will slightly underexpose while higher flash power equalizes out (and gets you more white light). Higher ASA gets you more noise but a faster shutter speed which will get you less motion blur.

YMMV.

NICE - If my first time out is half as good I'll be thrilled!

PS - did you happen to get the bartendress's name and number?

:)

Thanks. Since her boyfriend amd my wife were also sitting there, no I did not.
