Points taken on the hose protector. I will probably slide mine down more often now to check them but I still believe that I will continue to use them. I know of a couple of cases of hoses rupturing and causing OOA situations. Regardless I think many OOA's can be avoided by properly maintained equipment, and I'll stand by my statement that AIR2 vs Octo is not as important as avoiding the situation to begin with.
