So I wound up buying an Activeon CX. Its a pretty decent camera I have only shot stuff around the house as outside is cold and and became Wintery (I thought we would escape the snow this year 
) Got a great deal on it too, unused on Kijiji for $80 with selfie stick, 8 Gig memory card, and multi color face plates! I really need to find something worth shooting so I can get a feel for taking video and editing before my trip.
