Was wondering if anyone has used Smarttrak with Vista I'm having problems loading onto new laptop:confused:

Hi cjprzed,
did you figure out how to get it to work??
I too am trying to get my smarttrack to work on Vista (bus)
Cheers,
Calamity

I get errors related to Microsoft Data objects, but just select continue and ignore. The software eventual does open up and works fine.

if you have trouble installing it in windows vista, first when you install it right click on the file and click "run as administrator" that will get you past some of your problems. If you are still having problems uninstall the program and install it in windows vista safe mode

One of the reasons I run three computers with three different versions of Windoze... software compatibility issues on "upgrading." Nice that Uwatec has offered a free Vista-compatible download.
