I had some tools stolen from me by an employee. He headed straight to the local pawn shop. Fortunately for me, I know the owner very well. He stalled the guy long enough for the local police to arrive and ask him just how to you come to have Dave's tools? (I know the police officers as well!) Bottom line, check with the pawn shops first.
