And once again, someone can't resist. I wish I had local opportunities (and the resources) to make more diverse and challenging dives. If I did, I would seek the training appropriate for those dives. There isn't a real need for decompression dive training when you're in a quarry with a fifty foot bottom wearing a single 80. I am not asking about how to exploit the deco capabilities of my computer. Nitrox diving in said local conditions is largely a waste of money and is therefore not widely practiced. When I use my computer for these dives it serves as a depth gauge and bottom timer. Apologies to all that I can't keep time in my head or tell depth without some sort of instrumentation. Now, if you have anything actually informative to add to my original question I can go back to thinking of you and your opinions with all the respect due a senior moderator.Uncle Pug:Yeah... no problem.
