We took Matt to Maui last August, and introduced him to snorkeling. I really think having a bunch of experience doing that helped him a ton in transitioning to scuba. He has a lot of water confidence and had gotten used to clearing a mask and snorkel. Putting a regulator in his mouth and sinking under the water just seemed like a logical progression to him!

10 is way too young for scuba... Except for my kids and your grandson(s)...:D

Pretty cool that you got a nice photo of his first dive, he looks big for 10.
 
What a beautiful experience you and Lynne got to share with your grandson! That's awesome that the whole family has been involved too. Hope there are lots more adventures together... :)
