In fact - maybe we should start wearing helmets to dive. And put big viking horns on them, or maybe rasta hair. And while we're at it, how bout using those little knee pads that rollerbladers sometimes use...

Until they start designing them with great big viking horns or rasta dreadlocks on them, I will use all the bike riding skill I have used in the past to keep my head from making contact with the pavement.

Bike helmet laws are a particular peeve of mine as I guess you can see.

Some things should be left to personal judgement and common sence.

Plan your dive etc., use seatbelts (I don't feel comfortable not wearing them) but don't force me to wear a helmet while cycling (or watch me becoming a repeat offender :dazzler1: )
