Maybe CDWS modelled themselves on Israel!
CDWS modeled themselves on our-own-benefit model. This model maintains your income during economic crisis through closing competitors' operations (claiming that you're maintaining the standards). Moreover, this brilliant model allows you to take the competitors' money (in the form of annual subscriptions) and instead of protecting your members with their own money, you go promote your business in international shows.

I bet you know that yesterday 17 more dive centers in Sinai were added to their black list and some of these 17 already got a cease order (meaning that they're technically out of business).

Indeed. No doubt these evil centres are a threat to the survival of life on earth as we know it because their compressor is too small and various other things that the UN should really get involved with to protect the public!

Of the centres that had a cease order here as far as im aware most of them are operating regardless of that anyway.

CDWS model is basically pay us money or we close you down. When we do that we'll then demand more money to allow you to open up again. Then next year you can pay us more money.

Edit:- Looks like the moderators have been here. Yet again you arent even allowed to state personal reasons for doing or not doing something without some oversensitive loon taking offence and reporting it.

These evil centers are categorized in two different categories. The first category doesn't have enough resources (big compressors, lots of tanks, etc...), which means they're small fish thus deserve to be eaten by CDWS top predators. The second category is big enough to survive, but didn't show enough respect to CDWS officials who put and enforce the "standards", and of course treat people as arrogant as possible.

True. FYI, the authorities are aware that closing all these centers will cause more chaos.

In the 90s, some beach restaurants and cafeterias in Dahab didn't get their permission renewed (used to be a monthly permission). a cease order was issued and they obeyed it. After only one day, the authorities (higher authorities than those of Dahab city) ordered them to re-open and discard the regulations, as it sounded like they were doing a strike.
