I voted twice again today..and they registered this time. I noticed one guy is catching up to Kev, so everyone needs to keep voting every 7 days.

Here is a picture of a goliath grouper today (Monday) on the Castor. They were swarming like flies! You can see more in the background.

There were some very interesting and somewhat unusual things happening on these dives. The barrel sponges were spawning on Sunday:

so you will notice that the visibility that day was pretty bad with lots of sponge spawn in the water.

And on the wreck of the Castor, the goliath grouper were spawning as well, so the wreck was swarming with huge (3 to 5 foot long) grouper.

Whoa! SB finally let me log in again! For the longest it was holding Wil captive. So, thanks everyone for keeping the thread going! Here's some of my pics from September. I don't remember where we were for most of them, so I'm gonna come up a bit short on the narrative, but here are the pics nonetheless.

I do remember this guy, a Pacific species of Jack (I think a black jack) He lives on the Delray Ledge.

This Goliath grouper has taken up residence under a big rock on Black Condo. Wil is convinced that he loves her (a little bit)
