Here is what my LDS says....

Eclipse 30lb Wing or 40lb Wing - $368

Eclipse MC System (Stainless or Aluminum Backplate with secure Harness and
Storage Pak and Stainless single tank adapter $595

I thought the Eclipse's inner bladder is inaccessible? Halcyon's website says it's "replaceable." Does this mean it is also PATCHAbLE (by the user)?

I've expected a long time and no reply from Halcyon specialists - I was wrong - as Kung Fu Fighting answer was fast as lightening:

"The Eclipse wing requires the use of a single tank mounting plate. That plate and the cam bands associated with it, are the means to secure a variety of cylinders. I found the trim that the wing facilitates is excellent, regardless of the choice of cylinder."

We want to dive safely. We must relay on sb and I do. Soon I am going to test it by myself (so far there is no Eclippse available in Poland...) and give some info about it.

Dive safely - and do not collect plastics!

An aluminum tank floats butt-up. Having more lift on the bottom than the top of the wing is exactly wrong for diving with an AL80 for this reason. An AL80 is the most common tank.

But most divers concentrate thier weight around thier waists, so having more bouyancy lower in the wing would be preferred (like the Pioneers or the new DR Venture).

with a wing won't need much weight around their waists a good part of the time.

I need a grand total of TWO lbs with a single HP steel, and 6 with an AL80, both in a 3 mil full wetsuit.

Besides, I can move where I carry the weight. I can't move where the wing provides the lift.

Sure ya can....as a matter of fact...I think they have a technical device for those "bouyancy guiders"....they call 'em bungees:haha:
