Hey, sounding VERY interesting (planning vacations for next year.) Few quick add'l questions...

* What kind of exposure suit would you need for the Red Sea?
* How much of the gear would it be better to rent, vs. bringing your own...

Type of suit would depend on time of year. Anything from 3mm to drysuit depending on where and when.

As for gear i take my own always but you can rent if you want from anywhere.

It offers a variety of experiences and levels to suit all from OW level to TEC dives.. Plus if you are coming all that way.. why not add in soem sightseeing too and make it a complete holiday Diving, Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash...
