kelpermaid where from Upstate are you from. I was born and raised in Albany. I now live in Bennington.

Everyone regionally wanted to see Funny Side win the triple crown. He was from Saratoga, a big underdog, and his owner was a real nice guy.

Oh well, I guess he wasn't a mudder.

Funny Cide's owners - the high school buddies - were a big part of the story.

I don't think it was the mud -- he seemed fine with it -- but he did have a hard workout on Thursday that might have been too much.

My bad kelpermaid. I mis-read it. New York State is divided unofficially as follows. Long Island, the City, Upstate, Western New York and the North Country.

Rochester is diffinately "Western New York". That's your geography lesson today boys and girls

2: Went Deep
3: Came back alive
....and when you were done that for the day, it was a shot of Crown Royal!!!
