What a bunch of colorful sponges.

We don't have alot of large sponges on the US west coast, unless you get into deeper water where you can find huge cloud sponges, but I don't have any pics. Anyway just to contribute something here's a gray puffball sponge. It's about the size of a softball and is quite common of the Oregon coast.
 
Steven....it even looks like a softball!
