Ooh, this is fun!

Lots o' cutlery.
Rice bowls.
A 1000-year-old water jar.
Dozens of fishing lures - mostly on no-take sites.
Two anchors.
A WWII Japanese Val dive-bomber.
A WWII mortar-bomb someone had been using as an anchor!

All these were skin diving

-A native bowl-lamp made out of some kind of soft rock
-Countless shoes and sandals
-Beer cans and bottles
-A large broken television a fish was using as a nesting site
-Balls
-Crayfish entangled in fishing line
-Lures
-A sweet metal CD by a band from montreal (still works)
-Various metal chunks
-Mask & snorkel
-Badger skeleton

A can of Coors @ El Rey wreck in San Diego. Probably left behind by some guys that were there fishing a few minutes before the dive boat kicked them out.

- Weight belt
- sole of a bootie
- reel
- fins

It wasn't underwater, but we recently found a great wetsuit in the middle of a road when we were out running errands. The wetsuit was in great shape and we gave it to a friend!

I found my buddies false teeth sinking to the bottom. Now do you retrieve the teeth? ! Was the dive a full recovery?

09/27/08 - Carlsbad CA - The Pipe
To go along with the 4 lobsters in my bag on opening night, I snagged a crusty looking nextel phone with battery sitting in 25fsw.

I found an old metal key last dive trip, I thought that was cool. My husband found a really nice dive light.

so far I havent found much in the lines of "valuable" but here is a list so far:

TONS of golfballs
tackle Box Full of...tackle!
Self generating flashlight (worked underwater until crank broke!)
2 Coleman lanterns
4 Pair of Sun glasses, funny thing is they had the neck straps on them
A trillion beer bottles
1 Full Corona that appeared to have been left recently...taste testing later proved me wrong
A heavy lead Ball (had to use a BC to bring it up)

Im sure I will find more as i dive in areas that are less remote hah...
