Too early for Haigh Quarry

Is it too early for Haigh Quarry . Like is there ice on there yet? Wife and I are doing a Chicago weekend trip on March 7th to 9th. Also do they allow Solo diving. I probadly got over 200 dives in solo. Wife won't dive in the cold, and I have a dry suit and a cold water reg. And I'm not even sure I can get away to do a dive. It's just an idea.

There is still ice on the quarry. There may still be ice next weekend. Will depend on the weather. They don't allow solo diving unless solo certified. Even then they may not allow it. I don't know. You can always call and ask them.
