Mmmmm clean up crew.

I can see where you were on the totem pole :)

Lemme guess, they made you use your own shirt to clean the hoses :)

No... that wouldn't have worked... high-pressure water and detol solution :) Thank god for Viking Suits!

Most of my dives are with a very simple rig. Wetsuit, weight belt, mask and second stage with long hose (50' or more, not DIR 7') to either a compressor/surge tank or even a scuba tank on the surface.

For the really nasty stuff (you know, stuff that might kill you if it touches your skin) you use rubber dry suit with integral neckdam and freeflow airhat.

Most of the soup I dive in not so dangerous as it is disgusting.

You are right about one thing.
I don't make enough money.:D
Maybe that is why I am getting away from the diving and working on other ways to make a living.

Remember "The Outlaw Josie Wales"?
"You a bounty hunter?"
"Man's gotta make a livin' somehow."
"Dieing ain't much of a livin'"
:eek:ut:

The dive computer does it for me. Saves it in memory too each year when I change the battery.

For interest's sake - which computer are you using? I haven't seen one that has this feature.

Could be wrong ( and it wouldn't be the first time!). But this question wasn't loaded. It is interesting to see how many divers actually carry on a sport in which a large proportion fall out after basic training.

Questions that might help to make the poll more relevant:

With what frequency do individuals dive?

How many different locations have they experienced?

What were the conditions in those locations/

What was the purpose of their dives? Training? Sightseeing? etc

But isn't it time to let this Post die a natural death?

is overrated.
I am in favor of unnatural death.

Why not, hijack it! Any ideas?
